  Visited To Try The A1 Steak Dip Sandwich

  One of the last remaining Quiznos locations in San Antonio, and one I hope sticks around. I really enjoy the toasted subs here and almost always go with one of the sandwiches featuring the Au Jus French Dip. On my most recent visit, I decided to try the new A1 sub, which uses the standard steak topped with A1 sauce, and it was really good.
  
  This is a hot, toasted sandwich that came fresh from the oven, as my sandwiches here always do. It was topped with melted cheese, sautéed onions and mushrooms, along with the A1 steak sauce. Even with the A1 sauce added to the sandwich, it still came with the Au Jus for dipping, which made for a great combination. The steak had really good flavor, and the au jus worked well with the steak sauce, which seemed like an odd combination to me.
  
  Service at this location has always been good. There's usually little to no wait, you're waited on quickly, and I've never had any problems. The employees are friendly, especially if you take the time to chat with them.
  
  The food is consistently fresh and flavorful, and I've never had an issue with items being unavailable. I also like having the condiments available at the bar so you can add what you want.
  
  I highly recommend this location and will continue coming back. Hopefully they can stick around, because I definitely prefer Quiznos over Subway any day.
