A Fun Hibachi Experience, Food Is Good, Great For Special Events
I've eaten here a few times, usually for special occasions. One of my friends likes to have his birthday dinners here, so I've had the opportunity to come back several times. It's a pretty standard hibachi-style Japanese restaurant, with the tables built around a large flat-top grill where the chef prepares the meal right in front of you.
The cooking is part of the experience, with the chef putting on a show while preparing the food, including flipping meat, spinning an egg on a spatula, and tossing pieces of food into people's mouths. The fried rice is made fresh on the flat-top right in front of you, and the steak is grilled on the same surface. It's a fun experience, especially when you're there with a group.
Prices are a little high, which is the main reason I generally only come here for special occasions. They do have a dinner for two that's a little more affordable, though. Since I've only eaten here as part of larger groups, the service I've experienced has been good, although I can't really speak to what it's like when dining alone or as a couple. Overall, it's a fun place for a special occasion, with the price being the main thing that keeps me from visiting more often.— Paul
