  Average General Chicken

  I've had Lee's Garden before when visiting a friend who lived nearby, but my most recent experience before this visit wasn't a good one. We once ordered delivery, and the food never arrived. The restaurant eventually closed and stopped answering the phone, and the driver never showed up. We called twice over a 2 hour period and were told the driver was on the way, so that experience left a pretty bad impression.
  
  This was my first time actually dining in, and I was surprised by how fast the service was. I was seated quickly, placed my order, and had my food in just a few minutes. I actually remembered the previous delivery incident as soon as I pulled in, but decided to give the restaurant another try.
  
  I ordered the General Tso's chicken, which was decent but nothing particularly memorable. I'd rank it somewhere in the middle compared to other versions I've tried. The flavor wasn't especially bold, and I didn't get much of the garlic or pepper flavor I usually look for in this dish. The sauce also tasted somewhat like a commercially prepared product rather than something with a distinctive house-made flavor. The chicken did have a reasonably crisp coating, but even fresh from the kitchen was a little soggy by the time it reached the table.
  
  The portion size was reasonable, but the dish as a whole didn't stand out. The quick service was a plus, and the food was acceptable, but based on this visit, the General Tso's chicken wasn't anything I'd go out of my way to get again.
