First Time Eating Here - Ordered The Enchilada Lunch Special

This is a slightly upscale Tex-Mex restaurant located along the San Antonio River Walk in a tourist-heavy area downtown. The location features a full bar, indoor dining, and outdoor seating overlooking the river, making it a nice spot to enjoy a meal while taking in the scenery.

We visited for lunch and sat outside along the side of the building with a view of the river. The outdoor dining area was surprisingly quiet during lunchtime, making it a pleasant place to enjoy a meal with coworkers.

I ordered the Enchiladas de Queso lunch special, which consisted of two cheese enchiladas served with rice and beans. Everything was pretty good, and the food had the familiar flavors you'd expect from a Tex-Mex restaurant. The enchiladas came with a darker, chili-style sauce rather than the lighter, gravy-style sauce that's common at many Tex-Mex restaurants. The portions were decent, and everyone in our group was happy with what they ordered.

The menu offers a good variety of items, and prices were a little higher than average for San Antonio, although that's understandable given the downtown River Walk location. You can generally expect to spend around $15–20 per person for lunch.

Service was decent during our visit, but it wasn't especially fast. If you're on a short lunch break, you'll want to keep an eye on the time, since ordering, eating, and getting back to work can be a bit of a squeeze.

Overall, this is a good option if you're looking for a casual Tex-Mex meal in a pleasant River Walk setting. The food was enjoyable, the portions were reasonable, and the outdoor seating was a nice bonus. While I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way for the food alone, it's a comfortable place to have lunch with coworkers or enjoy a meal downtown.
