  Huge Portions, Cheap Prices. Bourbon Chicken Is Good

  Located in the River Center Mall food court, this is one of those places that knows how to get your attention. They almost always offer a sample as you walk by, and its always the bourbon chicken. Its the item they’re known for, and it reels you in.
  
  I never pass up the sample, but as soon as I started to walk away, they told me that they’re going to give me the biggest plate of food in the entire food court. And honestly, they aren’t kidding.
  
  I walked away to try a few other samples and eventually came back. The guy working there filled my takeout box so full it wouldn’t even close. The people working here can be quite the characters, joking around while making a very obvious attempt to sell you a plate.
  
  The food was actually pretty good Their $7 three-item plate was an enormous amount of food, probably more than most people will be able to finish. You could almost split one of these plates between two people and still have plenty to eat.
  
  The bourbon chicken here is probably one of the best bourbon chickens I’ve had. It was charred on the edges, tender, not dry, with tons of flavor. The sauce its sitting in had a good combination of smoky and sweet flavors that works really well with the chicken. Its one of those sauces you want to spoon up at the end.
  
  So if you’re walking through the River Center Mall food court, and haven't tried this place. I don't know how anyone hasn't had a sample by now.. Stop by. Try the bourbon chicken and decide for yourself. Just be prepared, you may end up walking away with a plate of food big enough to feed two people.
