All You Can Eat But Waiters Only Come By Once Every 20-30 Minutes

I visited this restaurant while staying in the Albuquerque area. After searching Google for "all-you-can-eat sushi," this was the place that came up.

After a short drive, we arrived at a somewhat hidden location tucked into a strip of small shops. We were seated promptly, and our initial order arrived within just a few minutes. Unfortunately, the service quickly went downhill after that. Staff would disappear from the dining area for as long as 25 minutes at a time, making it nearly impossible to get drink refills or place additional sushi orders.

We spent nearly two hours at the restaurant but only managed to order three times, including our initial order when drinks came out. With just one or two rolls per order, we didn't really get to try all that much. In hindsight, ordering more food with each round would probably have been the better strategy. However, we didn't want to risk ordering more than we could eat or getting stuck with rolls we didn't like. After the first long delay, we assumed it was a one-time occurrence, but the same thing happened again during the our visit.

Several other reviews mentioned what they described as "stalling tactics," and unfortunately, our experience felt much the same. After repeatedly waiting for someone to return to the dining area, we eventually gave up and decided to call it quits.

The sushi itself wasn't bad, but it wasn't particularly impressive either. At $21 for all-you-can-eat sushi, the price was appealing, but the experience fell short because of the long delays between orders. If the sushi had been exceptional, I might have been more willing to overlook the wait.

The average food quality and slow service ultimately bring down my scores for both service and value. I still think the price is reasonable, and I'd consider returning now that I have a better idea of what to expect. However, the restaurant needs to improve its service to make the all-you-can-eat experience worthwhile.
