  Decent Cajun Food But Higher Prices

  I've only dined here once, despite having driven past the restaurant many times and wondering how the food was. One evening, I finally decided to stop in with a friend and give it a try.
  
  I ordered the crawfish étouffée. The portion size was average, and the prices for the entrées were on the high side. Our food took a while to arrive, at least 20 minutes, and we were already pretty hungry by then. We'd spent the wait eating bread and drinking sodas, so we were ready to eat when our meals finally came out. The presentation looked decent, and the portion was about what I expected.
  
  After finishing dinner, I decided to skip dessert, even though the menu offered crème brûlée, one of my favorites. The problem was the cost. My étouffée and a soda came to around $20 before tax and tip, which was already more than I wanted to spend on a random spur of the moment meal.
  
  The étouffée wasn't the worst I've had, but it certainly wasn't the best, especially considering the price. Compared with other Cajun and seafood restaurants I've visited, the food simply wasn't impressive enough to make me want to return either.
