Good Hot Dogs, Decent Prices
The menu offers a good variety of hot dogs, with each one prepared in the style you would expect from its region. I ordered the Chicago dog, which is known for being loaded with fresh toppings or the "salad" as some call it, while my friend went with the bratwurst topped with spicy mustard.
One of the things I like about this place is that they also serve beer. If you’re looking for a hot dog and a cold beer, it makes for a nice combination and a good reason to stop in.
My Chicago dog was prepared the traditional way, with all the classic toppings: sport pepper, pickle spear, yellow mustard, onion, celery salt, tomato, and yes they had atomic relish (it was bright green). The flavor was good. It may not have been the best Chicago dog I’ve ever had, but it was definitely a solid hot dog and tasted like an authentic Chicago-style dog should.
The pricing isn’t exactly cheap, but I thought it was fair for what you’re getting. The ingredients seem to be a step above your average hot dog place, and the authentic flavors reminded me of some of the better hot dog carts I've bought from in larger downtown cities.
Overall, if you’re craving a regional-style hot dog and want to enjoy it with a beer, this is a place worth checking out.— Paul
