  Good Taiwanese Snow Ice, But Service Was Lacking

  My first visit to this establishment left me with a somewhat mixed impression.
  
  I ordered snow ice and waited for my order. As more people came in, the single employee working there started preparing everyone’s orders. Several people who ordered after me received their snow ice before I did. After waiting about 10 minutes, I finally went to the counter to ask about my order. A few minutes later, he brought it out.
  
  The portion size was good, although I couldn’t help wondering if the larger serving was partly because he realized I had been waiting for so long.
  
  I also felt that, regardless of how busy the location is, this seems like more than a one-person operation. One person was trying to take orders, prepare everything, and keep up with customers, and the wait seemed to reflect that.
  
  As for the snow ice itself, the quality was decent compared with other places I’ve tried both locally and while traveling outside San Antonio. It was enjoyable, but definitely not the best snow ice I’ve had.
  
  Hopefully they were simply short-staffed that day, because the snow ice was good enough that I’d be willing to come back and give them another try.
