Huge Food Court Area. Meat Market With Banchan, & Huge Selection Of Items
Was glad to see Austin got an H-mart. I had shopped at the Dallas location and it was pretty impressive.
The store in Austin however was even nicer than the one in Dallas. It has an excellent selection of items. You shopping area that is around the store if the Dallas location is set off to one side at the location and Austin.
There's a large food court located on the left side of the store which features a bakery and a Taiwanese ice cream shop as well as many other small food vendors. A lot of unique street food items were being offered. There was also a stage for live music and tables.
As for the grocery side of the store, selection of food items was on par with any of the other Asian or Korean food markets in the Austin or San Antonio area. The back meat market area had pre-made side dishes, boxed up and pre-portioned. I purchased several to take home and make my own Korean BBQ.
Prices on most items are pretty decent, but some items are a bit overpriced. The produce selection was really good, featuring some items that I haven't seen available at other places. I picked up some shashito peppers & daikon radish as well.
I will definitely be returning to shop there again, it's a great place all sorts of imported food item, marinated meat, Korean side dishes and snack items.
Funny enough, I didnt snap any photos while shopping, and only came back with a photo I texted someone of some Hello Kitty toilet paper.— Paul
