California Style Burger Is Great If You Like Onion - Custard Concretes Are Great As Well
I eat at Freddy’s every once in a while, and it’s a pretty decent place for a quick meal. For the price, I think the burgers are quite good and definitely better than what you’ll find at most fast-food drive-thrus. The thing that really keeps me coming back, though, is the desserts. The concretes are especially good, the ice cream here is custard, so its a little more creamy and sweet.
One of my favorite burgers here is the California Style. It comes with a full layer of onion made up of solid rings, rather than just a few pieces scattered on top. I actually really like the flavor combination, which surprised me the first time I tried it.
The onion rings are also pretty good as well, the batter on them is usually crispy, but can vary in crunchiness. The onion rings are the large style slices too, so they arent always cooked fully thru.
The hot dogs, on the other hand, seem a little small for the price. I'm fairly neutral about the fries, they're the thin, shoestring-style fries and nothing about them particularly stands out to me. But they do provide a dipping sauce for them.
Service has generally been good during my visits. On this visit, the manager came around to check on the customers and make sure everything was going well. Our food came out fairly quickly, and we had no problems with the ordering process.
If your looking for a decent burger, love onions, or want a good custard dessert, this is a place to get them all.— Paul
