  Good Thai Food And A Wide Selection Of Entrees

  I first tried this restaurant 15 years ago. I dined there again shortly after and then hadnt been back since I quit working in the area. The first time I tried it I had a papaya salad & beef, which was excellent. But the 2nd time I ordered a Thai Hot Beef Pad Thai, that was possibly one of the hotest items I'd ever had at a restaurant.
  
  Lets go back to the spicy pad thai dish, because its going on my list of spiciest things I've ever eaten. When I ordered it the cook actually came out to verify I knew it was going to be really spicy. His words were something like "I wanted to see who was ordering this". I was only able to eat about 1/3rd of the plate before I had to stop. The drive after I was actually light headed. When I attempted to eat the leftovers the spice level was the same, and I had to stop once again. The flavor was great, but it was impossible to eat in a single sitting.
  
  This visit many years later I tried Pad Gratiem with the combination shrimp and beef. The dish is a Garlic Beef served over Brocoli, but the waitress had it made special for me, with carrots and onion added to the plate. The item was very good, had lots of garlic flavor and overall was a favorite of the items I've tried here.
  
  Wait staff was friendly, but they seemed understaffed. I had to wait a bit for a menu and drink. I will probably return to try some more items. I just dont frequent the area like I used to. But this place is one of the better Thai restaurants in San Antonio.
