Korean Kimchi Burger - Was Just OK
I decided to try this place when I glanced at the menu and saw the variety of items offered. I created my own custom burger, containing Korean BBQ sauce, picked vegetables, bulgogi meat, and a few other asian inspired toppings.
It was a mix of items from other burgers, and the Korean Kimchi Burger that was already on the menu. The burger came out and looked pretty promising, but after the first bite, it was apparent it just didnt have the flavor I was hoping for. I was hoping to find a replacement for a Korean BBQ burger from a restaurant years earlier that had closed up.
The burger wasnt bad, just not boasting true Korean flavors.
This place has such a unique offering of items it would be hard to not find something to peak your interest. The menu while made up primarily of hamburgers and hot dogs, offers a lot of one off items as well.
Service here was decently fast, food came out quick, and the view from the upstairs deck was nice at dinner time. Prices were reasonable for a place like this in a touristy area, and I would return here to try some more items while visiting Manitou. Theres got to be an amazing combination hidden in there somewhere with such a diverse list of toppings.— Paul
