Good Service, Decent Prices, But Some Items Were Lacking In Spice & Flavor

This was my first time dining here, and I had actually just started exploring this area of town a little more about a week earlier.

We started the meal with the papaya salad, which reminded me a lot of the same marinade used in a Yum Nah or Thai beef salad, but served over shredded pickled vegetables. It had a nice combination of sweet, sour, and crunchy flavors and was a good way to start the meal.

For my entrée, I ordered the Pad See Ewe. It was a decent-sized portion with decent overall flavor. The vegetables were crisp and had fresh flavor, while the noodles were a bit lacking in flavor. I'm not quite sure what was missing; perhaps it was the spice level. I ordered the dish medium spicy, but there was almost no heat at all. On a 1–10 scale, I'd put the medium around a 2 or 3.

Prices were fair, and about average compared with other Thai restaurants. I did notice several handwritten or added price increases on the menu, including the Thai tea, which still had an incorrect price listed. I mentioned this to the waiter, but he simply explained that the menu hadn't been updated.

Overall, it was a decent first experience. I didn't find anything particularly amazing during this visit, but the food was good enough that I'd come back and try some other items when I'm in the area.

Perhaps ordering something with more spice will make the items more flavorful on the next visit.
