Decent Ribs, Almost Fall Of The Bone Tender.
I've been to and thru Roswell many a time.. dozens in fact, but this was my first time eating at the RibCrib. Why? Im from central Texas, one of the proclaimed homes of BBQ. We have BBQ places everywhere, even fast food ones, so Im never overly hopeful Im going to be impressed when I travel and see BBQ restaurants or Mexican food while traveling. I usually try to explore other types of food, but this trip I was traveling with a few people, and we decided to give this place a try.
All three of us ordered something different, I had the half rack ribs, with corn, fries and coleslaw. The coleslaw was surprisingly pretty good, but it was given to us in a little cup on each plate as sort of a garnish or something. My main sides were fries and corn.
The St Louis Ribs had decent flavor and the meat almost fell off the bones, the fries were seasoned well but a little soggy. The corn, well.. it was corn.. Nothing special about it.
For BBQ outside of one of the BBQ meccas of the US, I would say this place was decent. Prices were a bit high but the portion size for the entire plate was very filling. If I ate here again, I'll probably opt to make coleslaw a main side, and maybe try one of the sauced varieties of ribs, I went with the dry rub this time.
It wasnt bad for a nationwide chain. Good enough to fulfill those BBQ cravings. But not up there in the Best BBQ I've Ever Had.— Paul
