Pretty Small, Basic Buffet - Was Just OK.
Stopped in to try the buffet while I was working in town for the day. I was hoping to find a few dishes that would stand out and make the stop worthwhile.
The buffet itself was fairly small, with maybe a dozen or so entrees to choose from. I sampled a little of just about everything, including several of the main dishes and some of the sides. Unfortunately, nothing really stood out as being particularly memorable. Nothing was terrible, but there wasn't anything that made me want to go back for a second helping.
The dessert selection was limited as well, with pudding, fruit, and cookies making up most of the choices. Again, it wasn't bad, but there wasn't much variety or anything that particularly caught my attention.
I wasn't expecting the huge selection you'd find at one of the larger Chinese buffets in a major city, so the size of the buffet wasn't really a problem for me. A smaller buffet can still be enjoyable when the dishes that are offered are well prepared and have great flavor. I was just hoping to find one or two things that really impressed me.
Overall, this is pretty much what I'd describe as sub par to even an average small-town Chinese buffet. It's a reasonable option if you're looking for a quick buffet meal while you're in town, but based on my visit, there wasn't anything that would bring me back.— Paul
