Old Fashion Bakery Flavors - Oldest Bakery In Texas
Have been coming to Naeglins off and on for decades. The day old rack is always a bargain. You can stock up on brownies made from coco powder which gives it a strong flavor, strudels, coffee cakes and all sorts of other goodies for very little money. Be sure to check the wall for a clearance section.
One of my favorite items here is the pecan and cherry icebox cookies. They are soft and not overly sweet. They make a great snack.
This place is a great stop whether your a local Texan or a visitor. Its the oldest bakery in Texas, and its still around for a reason, they have old fashioned, authentic German recipes.— Paul
