  Tried A Burger, Fries & Malt For The First Time

  I decided to try Braum's for the first time while visiting Ardmore. Years of traveling thru Oklahoma I had passed by locations repeatedly but never stopped. I walked in and was surprised to find that the restaurant also has a small grocery store inside with a huge selection of ice cream flavors. I reviewed that as well.
  
  I ordered a combo with a burger, fries, and a Coke freeze. The food menu is pretty simple, with burgers, chicken strips, and chicken sandwiches, but there are a ton of choices when it comes to the ice cream and frozen treats.
  
  My burger, fries, and Freeze all had good flavor, and the food came out quickly. The employees were very friendly and made some good suggestions about what to try when I told them it was my first visit.
  
  The burger itself wasn't anything fancy, a pretty simple burger, with good flavor, and fresh flavor. The fries were your standard crinkle cut style, again fresh out of the fryer, with good simple flavor. And lastly the Coke freeze. I'm not sure how to describe it, but it wasn't what I was expecting. It didn't have much coke flavor, it was mostly ice cream, but was just barely diluted with the coke to a point the coke froze and created lumpy ice crystals mixed into the ice cream.
  
  The grocery store was probably the biggest surprise. The aisles were packed with dozens of ice cream flavors, including many I had never seen anywhere else. There were flavors like peach amaretto, pineapple upside-down cake, peach pecan, German chocolate, and many others. The half-gallon prices were also pretty cheap, although I didn't have any way to keep them frozen on the long drive back home.
  
  I'd definitely return to try some of the other items. With so many ice cream flavors and different ways to order them, including shakes, cones, sundaes, and freezes, it would be almost impossible to try everything in just a few visits.
  
  I really enjoyed my first visit to Braum's. The food was good, the service was friendly, and the selection of ice cream was much larger and more interesting than I expected.
