New Location Across The Street From Before
I've eaten at Tandoor Palace several times, although all of my previous visits were at the old location just down the street on the opposite side. They recently moved to this new location, and the difference is pretty noticeable. The new building is much nicer and has a more modern interior, making for a more pleasant dining environment.
The buffet itself is very similar to what they offered at the previous location. It has a fairly standard selection of Indian dishes, including fresh naan, chicken masala, pakora, vegetables, chickpeas, red and yellow curries, grilled vegetables, and tandoori chicken. The buffet was kept reasonably well stocked during my visit, and everything I tried was fresh. The selection is a little smaller than some of the other Indian buffets I've visited around town, but there was still plenty to choose from.
One advantage Tandoor Palace has over some of the larger Indian buffets is that the buffet is available throughout the day rather than being limited to lunch hours. After several visits, including both the old and new locations, the food has remained consistent through the move. The new location is a definite improvement in terms of atmosphere, while the buffet continues to offer a solid selection of fresh Indian dishes.— Paul

One Of The Better Indian Buffets I've Been To
We decided to stop here pretty much at random. Before ordering, we walked around the buffet to see what kind of selection they had, and we were pleasantly surprised by the variety. Both of us made at least three trips to the buffet, trying a little bit of everything.
The majority of the items on the buffet were very good, and there were only a few things I didn't care for. I went back for seconds of several dishes, which is always a good sign. The buffet included many of the main Indian dishes you'd expect, including chicken masala, korma, tandoori chicken, samosas, and naan, along with plenty of other options.
I also saved room for dessert and finished the meal with some rosewater donuts and mango custard/pudding, both of which were included on the buffet.
The entire experience was great. Service was good, prices were fair, and the food had plenty of flavor. There was a wide selection of dishes to choose from, and they were open a little later than some of the other Indian restaurants I've visited, which is another plus.
I was pleasantly surprised by this visit and would definitely recommend giving this place a try if you enjoy Indian food. There's enough variety that you can sample a lot of different dishes in one visit, and the combination of food quality, selection, and price makes the buffet a good option.— Paul
