  Decent Noodle Bowls, Lots Of Options, But A Little Lacking In Flavor

  I've eaten here twice now, and unfortunately, neither visit really impressed me.
  
  On my first visit, I ordered the Dan Dan Noodle Bowl. It came out hot and fresh and was prepared well, but I didn't really care for the flavor. The peppercorn dominated the flavor profile, and because everything was small pieces, it was difficult to get the ingredients along with the noodles.
  
  On my second visit, I tried the Brisket Noodle Bowl, which I had seen featured on the news. Unfortunately, I was even less impressed with this one. The food was fresh and the service was excellent, but the flavors just didn't work for me. I had hoped the larger pieces of meat, and the brisket flavor would create a better flavor, since they would be easier to pickup with the noodles, but the beef didn't have a strong flavor.
  
  Prices were reasonable, although a little on the pricey side for a noodle bowl. The waiter was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service.
  
  I may come back and try something completely different, but after two visits, I haven't found anything I'd consider excellent. Maybe Sichuan noodles just aren't for me. I think this might hit the spot when the weather is cold though.
