Decent Pad Thai, But Smaller Portions & Higher Priced.
I’ve eaten here twice now, and both visits have been pretty good. The menu has a great selection, with plenty of Thai dishes along with sushi, so there are quite a few options to choose from. The wait service, however, has been a bit hit or miss between my visits.
I’ve tried the Pad Thai, Spring rolls, Pad See Ew, and a Philadelphia roll. Everything I’ve had so far has been good, although the beef dishes have been a little disappointing when it comes to the amount of meat in them. The plate oprtions overall are also on the smaller side, particularly for the main entrees. Spice levels have consistently been fairly mild, even when ordering dishes with some heat.
Because the plates are smaller, I usually end up ordering an additional item to make the meal more substantial. That can add up, especially when they are priced a bit higher than average.
The sushi rolls have been good as well. The flavors aren’t anything unique, but the rolls have always tasted fresh and the quality has been consistent.
The individual items aren’t necessarily expensive on their own, but when you factor in the smaller portions and the need to order additional food, the overall cost of the meal ends up being higher than I’d prefer, which has dissuaded me from more frequent visits.
Overall, I’ve had good food on all my visits and would come back, but the smaller portions and inconsistent service are things to keep in mind.— Paul
