Pretty Good Quesabirria. Lots Of Flavor, Plenty Cheese.
Ordering for the first time was a bit challenging. I feel like a printed menu would simply the ordering process quite a bit. They have quite a bit of options on the menu, from ramen to tacos. Items have multiple ways they can be served.
We arrived before the dinner rush, so the wait was pretty minimal. The location has only a few tables in front with no shade or covering, so we waited for our food in the car. It was pretty hot outside that day, and eating at a table with no shade didnt seem appealing at all.
The food was good, portion size was decent but we would have liked to have had some more of the consume. All the flavors were really good, the tortillas were dipped and cooked on the flat grill before the birria and cheese were added. The plate was served with a side of onions, cilantro, lime and hot sauce. Overall the entire plate had everything you would want. The price for the quesabirria was a bit high for the portion size compared to other taco trucks I've seen. But as far as the flavor goes this was some of the better birria I've had. The whole birria thing has just started to take off, and Im seeing more and more places offering it. Now theres places that are specializing in it.
I'll probably return since its new to a neighborhood that needs an influx of new and unique businesses, Id like to see the location succeed, but theres deffinitely room for improvement as far as seating and shade go.— Paul
