  Good Mexican Food, Huge Sopapillas, Large Portions & Affordable Prices

  This was my 2nd trip to Sely's. I was recently introduced to this place by a friend of mine. Then I recommended it to a friend of mine, who I met there with a friend of theirs..
  
  I recommended the location because they told me they were on a budget, and were in the Schertz and 3009 area. I told them the food was cheap and the portions were large.
  
  Before I arrived they were seated and munching on chips and salsa, and an order of chili con queso. We ordered our entrees and when the food came the portions blew them away.. they had already filled themselves half way up before the food arrived and now these huge steaming plates of food came to the table.
  
  I had the daily special which was 2 enchiladas, rice and beans & a chalupa/tostada. I asked to substitute the chalupa for a puffy taco, and they did for a minimal charge. I believe it was about $2 more. My dinner and drink with the substitution came out to about $12.
  
  Everyone at the table was pleased with their orders, all the food was hot & well prepared, service was pretty good, even though they were busy at the time and our waiter was running around like crazy.
  
  I will definitely return and recommend this place to others, as its a good place for Mexican food with really good prices.
