Cheap Pizza Buffet, Pizza Is Average

I've visited this CiCi's Pizza location about seven times, and it's been pretty consistent. The food isn't anything exceptional in terms of flavor, but it's a decent pizza buffet for the price. The restaurant has always been clean during my visits, and the buffet has generally been well stocked. Even close to closing time, the pizzas and other items have continued to be refilled and kept fresh.

The pizza selection is reasonable, although I wouldn't say any of the varieties really stand out. The pepperoni pizza is pretty average, while the BBQ pizza can have a strong sauce flavor that sometimes overpowers the other ingredients. The ham and pineapple pizza is a little different from what you might expect, with more white cheese than usual, giving it a different texture and flavor.

One thing I've noticed is that I usually have to ask for Supreme pizza. Once they put one out, I'll grab a few slices, and the rest usually disappears within a few minutes. Since it seems to be so popular, I'm not sure why they don't keep it on the buffet more regularly. Perhaps the additional toppings make it more expensive to prepare.

The spaghetti is fairly plain, the sauce doesn't have much flavor, its just standard meat flavored spaghetti sauce. It might just be marinara. The salad bar is pretty limited, and on some recent visits, items like cheese and bacon bits haven't been available. If you're coming primarily for the pizza, though, there are usually enough options to find something you enjoy.

Dessert is another part of the buffet, with three or four items typically available. Along with the cinnamon rolls, there's usually a dessert pizza with an apple-cinnamon and crumble topping, as well as a chocolate pudding pizza. The cinnamon rolls are probably my favorite of the bunch. They're not amazing, and they can sometimes be a little undercooked, but they're still pretty good. They're usually buttery and doughy on top, although the bottoms can be harder and somewhat dry.

Service has been good during my visits, and the tables are kept clean. When you request a custom pizza, the staff sometimes brings it directly to your table, while other times they put it on the buffet for everyone to enjoy. If you're waiting for a particular pizza, it's worth keeping an eye out so you don't miss it when it comes out.

Overall, CiCi's is a good option when you're looking for an inexpensive meal without a long wait. For around $10, you get an all-you-can-eat buffet with pizza, sides, and desserts, which is a pretty good deal. The food is fairly average in terms of flavor, so I wouldn't come here expecting fantastic pizza, but that's not really the point. If you're looking for cheap pizza and dessert, a quick meal, or an easy place to feed everyone without spending much, CiCi's gets the job done.
