  Decent Sesame Chicken Dinner Combo

  Chin San has some excellent items, and my absolute favorite is the sesame chicken. I've tried quite a few things here over the years, that ranged from excellent, to those I wouldn't order again. One time I ordered several combination plates to take back to an office, and everyone ended up commenting that we should have just ordered the sesame chicken and nothing else. That pretty much sums up what might be the best item here. It has remained my favorite item here ever since I first tried it.
  
  I've eaten inside the restaurant as well as ordered takeout, and the food is always surprisingly fast, whether I'm waiting for a table or picking up an order. It's a great option for a quick lunch when you're in the area. Portions are good sized and filling, and the prices are very reasonable. Dinner combinations are around $8 and include fried or steamed rice, while family orders are around $10. Lunch specials run about $6–$7 and include soup, rice, and an appetizer.
  
  I did post a negative review after the COVID shutdowns because I felt the food quality had declined, particularly with the chicken. Since then, the food has improved considerably and has returned much closer to the flavor and texture I remember from before. Overall, Chin San is a quick, inexpensive Chinese restaurant with a few items that are really good. If you're looking for a new place to try, I'd definitely recommend giving it a shot and I'd especially recommend the sesame chicken.
