Fried Bologna On A Restaurant Menu? Im Curious Now
I stopped in here for the second time while walking along Historic Bathhouse Row and taking photos. The place has a definite touristy feel, but it's an interesting spot to take a break and enjoy a cold beer.
The beer selection was decent, and while I didn't discover any new favorites, the beers we tried were enjoyable and served cold. After spending time walking around the area, that's exactly what we were looking for. Service was good, and the prices weren't unreasonable given the location, although they were a little on the high side.
One thing I've noticed on both visits is that the menu has a pretty random assortment of items without any particular theme. During my first visit, they offered charcuterie boards featuring meats from local Arkansas companies, along with fried bologna that caught my attention. On this visit, the menu had changed and featured a different mix of mostly American bar food alongside some less conventional options.
We decided to skip the food this time, but some of the current offerings looked interesting. Since the menu seems to change between visits, I'm curious to see what they add or replace next. I'll likely stop in again when I'm in the area, and maybe next time I'll find something on the menu that's too tempting to pass up.— Paul
