  Pit Stop For Some Of My Favorite Items

  One of the larger Buc-ee's locations, with a huge selection of merchandise and food items. It's a great stop for anyone traveling along I-10, whether you're looking to grab a full meal, some snacks for the road, or just stretch your legs for a few minutes. The food selection is excellent, with both hot and cold options, fresh-baked goods, cheese and sausage plates, tons of jerky flavors, and a wide selection of fountain drinks. The restrooms are also always clean, and with so many stalls, I've never had to wait.
  
  I've purchased hot food here many times while traveling, and it's always been good. On this visit, I stopped to pick up a couple of my favorite items, the dried venison sausage and smoked cheddar cheese slices. The smoked cheddar has a really good smoky flavor that's noticeable without being overpowering. Its my favorite smoked cheddar, and I haven't found anything that has flavor like it.
  
  The venison sausage is pretty good too, just not in the top ranks I've ever had.. Its no slouch flavor wise and will fill that craving for old fashioned smoked sausage. Even though its dried, its not jerky, if you've never had this type of sausage you should give it a try.
  
  I also stopped by the bakery area for one of the boudin sausage kolaches. They're surprisingly inexpensive, especially considering how much filling they contain, and two of them make a pretty good meal.
  
  Between the selection of items, clean facilities, good food, and fair food prices, its one of my favorite stops when traveling. Whether you're just grabbing a drink and a snack or fueling up for the trip ahead, its a great place to stop along I-10.
