  A Standard Waffle House Experience, But That's What I Like About Them, Consistency

  This was my first visit to this particular Waffle House, but I've eaten at Waffle House locations all across the country while traveling. Most locations are conveniently located along the highways, usually just a quick exit away, and one of the things I've always appreciated is the consistency. The food quality at nearly every location I've visited has been very similar.
  
  I ordered my usual medium-rare steak, eggs over easy, hash browns, and toast. After years of eating at Waffle House, I realized something, I had never actually ordered a waffle. Since the restaurant is called Waffle House, I figured it was finally time to see if I had been missing something.
  
  As expected, my meal came out cooked exactly the way I ordered it. The waffle was good as well, and at around $3, I thought it was a good value compared with some of the competition charging twice as much for a waffle, but it was about the same flavor as most places. Nothing really too different.
  
  The staff at this location were particularly friendly and accommodating. I ended up having a few short conversations with them about various random things while I was there, which added to the overall experience.
  
  I enjoyed my visit and would gladly return to this location. The food was good, the service was friendly, and the prices remain one of the things I like most about Waffle House. After eating at locations all over the country, I still find Waffle House to be a strong value for both the food and the service.
