  Good Mole Enchiladas, Open 24 Hours, But Poor Customer Service

  I hadn't eaten here in many years, but recently decided to stop in for a late-night dinner. The food turned out to be pretty good, and the portions were generous, but the experience at checkout left me with mixed feelings.
  
  The biggest issue was the pricing. The specials advertised on the walls didn't clearly indicate that they were lunch-only. Some were listed as daily specials, so I ordered the special for that day, expecting to pay the advertised price. I might have ordered differently, but made the choice based on the special. At the end of the meal, I discovered that the specials were only available during lunch and the dinner prices were about 30% more than the price on the wall.
  
  When I asked the cashier about the difference, they responded with a somewhat sarcastic laugh and said, "Ohh no, lunch portions are much smaller, those prices are for lunch" before reaching for my card. It was all done with an attitude, as if I should have somehow known somehow, when it wasn't printed anywhere.
  
  As for the food, I ordered the mole enchiladas, which were very good and among the better versions I've had. The rice and beans were average, nothing particularly memorable, but the portions were enormous. My friend's bowl of menudo was also very large, so you definitely won't leave hungry,.
  
  Table service was okay, and the food itself was on the better end of what's available for late-night meals. After reading other reviews, it seems I'm not the only person who has had concerns about the staff's attitude. Customer service is an area where this restaurant could use some improvement.
  
  I would consider returning, now that I know the advertised prices and specials are apparently lunch-only. The restaurant is open 24 hours, dinner portions are large, and the dinner prices are comparable to those at other independent, sit-down Mexican restaurants around town. The the size of the dinner portions the prices are pretty good. But It almost felt like a bait and switch with the attitude of the staff.
