  Confusing Issue With Chicken Entrees - But General Chicken Was Good

  This was my first time eating at this restaurant. I ordered the General Chicken, which was very good.
  
  The biggest issue was the wait to get started. It took a while for someone to come take our order, and then we were told there would be another 20–30 minute wait for the General Chicken or Orange Chicken.
  
  We were offered Lemon Chicken if we wanted our food right away, but we decided to wait for what we originally wanted. I was almost ready to leave when they told us about the additional wait. What surprised me was that they didn't really explain why those two dishes would take another 20–30 minutes while the Lemon Chicken could be prepared immediately.
  
  Fortunately, once we got past that, the rest of the meal went smoothly. The food was good, the General Chicken had good flavor, and the portion sizes were generous. The general chicken came out fresh.. I would hope so after the wait, crispy with a decent sauce on it. The Mongolian beef was somewhat average, the vegetables were decent, but sauce wasn't overly flavorful.
  
  Despite the slow start and unexplained wait, I would consider coming back to try some of the other items on the menu.
