  Wide Variety Of Desserts, Mostly Baked Bread & Cake Like Items

  This is an amazing place to visit if you enjoy desserts, especially if you're a fan of custard buns, mousse, cakes, pies, and beautifully decorated pastries. Every time I stop by, I see something new that I want to try, and there's a huge variety of options to choose from.
  
  On this visit, I picked up a large bun filled with egg custard. I'm used to the smaller steamed custard buns you typically find at Chinese restaurants, so this was quite different. It was much larger, with a golden-brown baked top rather than the soft, steamed exterior I'm accustomed to. It was pretty good and a nice change from the traditional version.
  
  I also tried a small, round custard-filled pastry that was baked and had a bread-like exterior. I can't remember the exact name, but it was something generic along the lines of milk custard bread. It was good as well, although the flavor wasn't quite as distinctive as the larger custard bun.
  
  The selection here is impressive, with something for just about every taste and budget. You can find simple desserts for around $2–3, or go all out with elaborate, artistically decorated cakes that can cost $40 or more. Whether you're looking for a quick, inexpensive treat or something much more elaborate, there's plenty to explore.
  
  One thing I've noticed during my visits is that there are often quite a few empty spaces in the display cases. I'm not sure whether certain items sell out early or if they only make particular desserts on certain days, but it does mean the selection can vary.
  
  Everything I've purchased here has been great, and I always leave with something new on my list to try next time. If you enjoy Asian-style baked goods, custard pastries, mousse, cakes, or beautifully decorated desserts, this place is definitely worth a visit.
