Great Flavors On Visit #2, But Large Crowds
My seconds visit to Waynes Wings, about a month after the first. I had to come back to try some more flavors as the wings were great the last time. The popularity of this place has taken off, and it appears more and more people are hearing about it. I actually had to wait to even get in the door on this visit, but had a table open up while waiting for the order to come out. Initially I thought I might be taking my order to go, or eating in the car.
I ordered the 6 piece meal again with 2 flavors, but went with the funnel cake fries this time. For my wing flavors, I went with the Texas Honey again, but this time for my 2nd flavor decided to try the honey BBQ.
Again both flavors were great. The fries again were a bit disappointing, as the funnel cake powder was pretty minimal, and I figured maybe they would be coated or dipped before fried, but they appeared to just be fried and then dusted with powdered sugar and cinnamon.
The meal was good yet again, and I expect I'll be back again, for another visit. The crispy skin on these wings, is really what makes them stand out. They've yet to be soggy, and the sauces on them have all been flavorful and plentiful.— Paul

Great Flavors, Crisp Wings. Some Of The Best Wings I've Had
This was my first visit to Wayne’s Wings. I had heard good things about it from a couple of people and had also seen the restaurant featured on the local news, so I decided it was time to give it a try.
I ordered the 6-piece Wayne’s Meal and paid the extra $1 to get a second flavor. I went with the Texas Honey Bee wings and the Honey Mustard Jerk wings, which I believe were called Stevo’s. The meal also came with a can of soda, tea, or lemonade, along with an order of fries. I had ranch powder added to my fries.
The total came to about $14, which I thought was a pretty reasonable price for the meal.
When I first arrived, the restaurant was almost empty, but by the time I finished eating, there was barely an open seat left. It definitely seemed like the restaurant was popular with the local crowd.
The wings were some of the best I've had anywhere. The sauce was plentiful, with enough left on the wings to dip them into as I ate. The skin was crispy and had plenty of flavor, which made for a really good wing overall.
One thing that really stood out was the selection of flavors. There were at least 25 different flavors to choose from, including some unexpected options like funnel cake. I believe the funnel cake flavor can also be added to the fries as a seasoning, which is something I haven't seen at many other wing places.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Wayne’s Wings if you're looking for good chicken wings. Compared with many of the other places where I get wings, these were some of the better ones I've had, and the large selection of flavors gives you plenty of reasons to come back and try something different.— Paul
