  Tried The Tejano Plate - Enchiladas Were Decent, Carne Guisada Was Good

  This was my first time eating here, despite driving past the place for decades. I stopped in on a weeknight since they stay open a little later than some of the other restaurants in the area. There was also some live music going on, which added a nice atmosphere.
  
  I ordered the Tejano Plate with cheese enchiladas and carne guisada. The carne guisada was tender and had good flavor. The cheese enchiladas, however, were just OK. They seemed to be lacking flavor, and the cheese was fairly dense. They also didn't seem like they had been baked quite long enough.
  
  The beans were actually the first thing I took a bite of, and they had good flavor. Overall, the food was decent, but I think there are probably some other items on the menu that may be better.
  I'll probably come back and try some of those on another visit.
  
  Service was decently quick, portion size was good, prices were fair. I've had many people who live on this side of town mention this place over the years, but Im not sure what items they like to order.
