Asada Tacos Were Good. Didnt Get To Try The Brisket
I stopped by for some late-night tacos over the holiday weekend, when most of the other places around town were already closed. This taco cart was still open, which made it a convenient option.
I ordered the asada tacos, which were decent overall. My friend ordered the asada fries. The portion sizes were good and the prices weren't bad, but the food could have been a little better. The fries were soggy from the hot meat and being in a to-go container for just a few minutes, and the grilled onion was still pretty raw rather than being nicely grilled.
My order came out fairly quickly, around 15 minutes. I had actually wanted to try the brisket, but unfortunately they were sold out by midnight.
The staff working the cart were friendly, and the woman taking orders spoke both English and Spanish, which made ordering easy.
Overall, I'd consider ordering from here again. The prices were reasonable, portions were decent, and having a food cart open late when most other places were closed was definitely a plus. The food wasn't quite as good as I'd hoped, but there was enough here to make me willing to give it another try, especially to see how the brisket is when it's available.— Paul
