Fresh Food & Fast Service, But Poor Customer Service
I placed my order through the app, purchasing the $2.49 popcorn shrimp and a chicken special. Unfortunately, there were a few issues with the order and the service.
First, I was charged $2.99 before tax for the popcorn shrimp instead of the advertised $2.49. I also requested two different dipping sauces but received only one. When the employee handed me my order at the drive-thru window, I asked for honey. Instead of acknowledging the request, they slid the window shut and walked away.
They eventually came back after noticing I was still sitting there, blocking the drive-thru. They got me the honey, but by that point, I never got the chance to ask about the price. As fast as I said can I get some honey the window went shut again.
On the positive side, the food was fresh, and service was fast. However, the interaction at the window was disappointing. The employees seemed focused on taking payment and handing out bags, with almost no verbal communication. They would slide the window shut immediately after each interaction, leaving little opportunity to confirm the order or ask for anything else.
Overall, the food was good and came out quickly, but the incorrect charge, missing dipping sauce, and lack of communication made this a less-than-smooth experience. A little more attention to order accuracy and customer interaction would go a long way.— Paul
