Ordered My Favorite: Daytona Style Wings Fried And Grilled
I've been eating at this location for a few years now, and the food has been consistently good. My favorite thing to order is the wings, especially when they're fried and then grilled Daytona style. I also like some of the hotter sauces, particularly the 3 Mile Island. I've tried several other items over the years, including the fried pickles, fries, steak sandwich, and boneless wings, and I've generally been happy with everything I've ordered.
On my most recent visit, my waitress was KK, and she was awesome. She was friendly and talkative, checked on my table regularly, and made sure everything was taken care of. She even spent some time chatting with me during the visit. It was probably the best service I've received during my last 10 visits.
The food itself was consistent with what I normally get here. Portions have been good, and the food generally comes out in a reasonable amount of time. Prices are about average, and they regularly have specials depending on the day and time. Those can be a good opportunity to try something different or experiment with some of the many wing flavors.
Service can vary depending on how busy the restaurant is. On particularly busy nights, food can take longer to come out and drink refills can be slow. It's also not unusual to have a wait on weekends or when there are major sporting events on TV.
I did have one visit where we experienced several problems with both the food and service. After we reported the issues, the restaurant contacted us and invited us back so the manager could make things right. They followed through and made a genuine effort to address the poor experience, which I appreciated.
Overall, I'd recommend this location for lunch or an occasional meal. The food has been consistently good, there are plenty of wing flavors to choose from, and the specials give you opportunities to try different things. Just be aware that service can depend quite a bit on how busy they are.— Paul
