  Great Fried Catfish - Same As Other Locations

  I usually eat at Billy Bob's for the fried fish, and the portions are large enough to make it a great value. Three pieces will fill up most people, while ordering five will probably have you taking some home as leftovers. The prices are fair considering the portions, and the quality of the seafood is better than what I find at many seafood restaurants, especially when it comes to catfish.
  
  The fried catfish here is probably the best I've had anywhere. It's well prepared, has good flavor, and is one of the main reasons I keep coming back. The onion rings are also a good side, while the coleslaw is excellent.
  
  I've been generally been disappointed with hushpuppies at most places, to the point that I usually leave them sitting on the plate and don't even try them. I decided to try them here, and found out I've been missing out. The hushpuppies at Billy Bob's are completely different from what I was expecting. They're moist, flavorful, and have peppers inside that give them some extra flavor. I actually ended up really enjoying them.
  
  The staff at this location was friendly, and I had a chance to speak briefly with the cook and assistant manager. This was my first time eating at this location, although I've been to the Castroville location numerous times.
  
  Overall, Billy Bob's is definitely a place I'd recommend for fried catfish. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the flavor beats most seafood restaurants. If you like fried catfish, this is definitely a place worth trying.
