1st Visit To The San Antonio Location. Amazing Again!
I reviewed the location in Roundrock a while back, which I found just passing by it. When I saw there was a San Antonio location I knew I had to try it as well. So Im back, at my local-ish location. To see what new flavors are on the menu and it looks like its Key Lime Pie season.
I ordered the Medium Key Lime Pie concreete. As with the first location, the order was in super fast, the ice cream was blended and out the window in a matter of maybe 3 minutes. The portion was large, filled to the brim, with a generous portion of the mix-in.
The keylime flavor was pretty decent, maybe not as tart as I was expecting, and with a bit more crust that I would have preferred, but the vanilla custard at this place is great. Overall it was a really good blended custard. Im thinking this one is a 9 as well, maybe not as close to a 10 as the last. Mainly because of the amount of pie crust in it.
Im sure I'll be back again, to try another flavor. I've yet to get the plain ole vanilla and waffle cone, which is probably amazing.— Paul
