Not Sure What Happened. I Got An Amazing Hot & Spicy Chicken Sandwich
I've been through the drive-thru at this location several times, and the food has consistently been hot and fresh. Orders come out quickly, and I've never had a problem with the accuracy of my order.
I'm leaving this review because, they made an amazing Hot & Spicy sandwich. I have no idea what they did differently, but if they could make them like that every time, I'd probably be eating one every visit.
The bun was fresh, and the patty seemed like it had just come out of the fryer. The coating had a really nice crispy crunch, and the patty itself actually had some noticeable spice to it. It also looked a little redder than the Hot & Spicy sandwiches I normally receive. There was plenty of mayo and a decent amount of lettuce, but somehow the combination of everything tasted better than any Hot & Spicy sandwich I've had from McDonald's.
I've been back since, but unfortunately, the sandwich tasted more like the ones I've gotten at other locations. That one particular sandwich was just unusually good. Whatever they did that day, they nailed it. If they could consistently reproduce that version, I think they'd sell a ton of them.
Aside from the fluke sandwich, the service here was been quick, drive thru always moves fast, and all my orders at this location have been accurate. So The location seems to be a bit better than others.
I didn't take a picture of the sandwich, I wasn't expecting it to be fantastic, and figured it would just be another average McDonalds visit. The McRib was from the next visit where I ordered both.— Paul
