Best Supreme Pizza I've Ever Had
One of my favorite pizza places anywhere. Its a must visit location when in the Ruidoso area. I found this place while on a snowboarding trip.
The Cafe Rio offers some amazing pizza, brick oven cooked, New York thin crust, packed with toppings. The pizza shown in my photo is the Kitchen Sink, minus the anchovies and pineapple. The kitchen sink includes Pepperoni, Canadian Bacon, Salami, Mushroom, Bell Pepper, Red Onion, Black Olive, Green Olive, Sausage, Beef Brisket, Green Chile, Jalapeños, Pineapple, Anchovies. At the time I believe ours included Portuguese sausage as well.
The pizza was absolutely amazing, and was so packed with toppings we had to clean out plates using a spoon.
Cafe Rio also offers some home made shakes, served in classic stainless steel mixer cups.
Pizza is cooked in a brick oven at the front of the restaurant. The restaurant is located downtown on the main street with parking available behind the building.— Paul
