One of the better AYCE Korean BBQ / Sushi / Shabu places in San Antonio

I’ve had my eye on this spot for a while, and after finally visiting, it’s easily become one of my top picks for All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE) Korean/Japanese BBQ in the area. They offer a tiered pricing structure where you can choose between two of their primary dining categories or pay a little extra to access all three. On this visit, I opted for the Sushi and BBQ combination.

    Menu Selection & Variety
The menu is decently broad, but the standout feature is the flexibility. For the sushi side, they allow you to order "half rolls" (about four pieces). This is a massive plus, as it lets you sample different rolls without filling up or being forced to commit to a full portion.

While the meat and sushi options are extensive, the self-service buffet—which includes pot stickers, takoyaki, kimchi, and fried rice—is a bit more limited than the sides offered at dedicated Korean BBQ restaurants. The takoyaki was a nice inclusion, though it lacked that "just-fried" freshness since it sits out on the buffet.

    Food Quality
The quality of the meats were excellent. Most of the cuts were fresh, well-seasoned, and served in manageable portions that didn't feel overwhelming.

    The Meats:
The Beef Bulgogi was a highlight—easily some of the best I’ve had at an AYCE establishment.
The LA Kalbi and Prime Brisket were also high-quality of which we re-ordered.

    The Sides:
The Corn Cheese was unique; it arrived uncooked in a small metal cup that you place directly on the grill. The mozzarella they use was high quality and has a great pull and flavor.
The menu also offered a decently selection of vegetables including (King Oyster, Garlic Mushroom, Sweet Potato, & Garlic Asparagus)

    The Sushi:
I tried the Japanese Lasagna and the SA Cowboy Roll (topped with filet mignon). Both were solid, though I’ll need a return visit to see how the rest of the sushi menu stacks up against dedicated AYCE sushi joints.

    Desserts:
Also included are a few dessert options. I tried a few squares of cheesecake which were pretty decent. They offered 3 options as well as icecream.

    Service
Despite the restaurant being quite busy, the service was attentive and well-paced.
Our waiter checked in frequently for additional meat orders and kept our drinks refilled.
One of the biggest pluses was how often they swapped out our grill plate to keep the char from building up—a small detail that makes a big difference in meat flavor.

    Value
The pricing is on par with the local average for Korean BBQ or AYCE sushi. However, given the freshness of the meat and the added perk of the sushi variety, the value feels a little better than many competitors. It is a fair price for the quality of the experience, and I will definitely be back to explore more of the menu.
