    Great Burgers & Rings

Not the first time I've eaten at Fatburger. In fact San Antonio used to have one about 15 years ago on Dezavala Rd, and recently got 2 new locations. I'd completed the triple king challenge back in the day, and had my photo on the wall after eating a 1.5lb burger, a basket of fries and 2L of Coke. Sadly the location closed, and I was only able to get my fill when visiting Las Vegas.

While the location near Alamo Ranch has been open a while, I had just recently found out about the San Pedro location.

For my return visit I went with just a regular Fatburger, some onion rings, and a Coke. How I ever ate what I did before I have no idea, but this regular sized meal left me full and well satisfied.

The burger had great flavor, well seasoned meat, a crumbly loose texture, almost like a smash burger. Toppings were plentiful, with just the right amount of condiments.

The onion rings, great as well, nice and crispy, with excellent flavor, a decent portion size, with good texture, and nice thick slices within that were cooked not soggy, but not raw or crunchy either, with all the crispness coming from the batter.

It was lunch time, and despite the rush, my order came out quick.

I would definitely return here, for the price I left totally full. All the items I ordered came out consistent to previous visits from years ago, everything fresh, and well portioned.

If you like burgers I highly suggest you give this place a try, despite it being a chain restaurant. They may not have fancy burgers, with unique toppings, but they do have good flavor.
