  Had never heard of cupbop until recently, and found this place.

  I finally had the chance to experience Wow Chicken & Cupbop, a spot that had been on my dining radar for nearly a year.
  
  After hearing from staff that the most popular item was chicken wings and fries, I opted to try something different and went for the bulgogi cupbop, despite my initial uncertainty about what exactly "cupbop" entailed.
  
  A quick Google search while waiting for my food revealed the origins of "cupbob" as a startup featured on Shark Tank, evolving from a food truck to a chain with over a dozen locations and inspiring similar establishments nationwide.
  
  To my delight, my order arrived promptly, presented in a metal tin. filled with a mix of items. Included was a generous portion of bulgogi & onions served atop glass noodles akin to japchae, as well as a serving of steamed rice, mixed salad, & 2 pot stickers (gyoza). As if this wasn't enough, two separate bowls containing kimchi and pickled radish slices were also served.
  
  The bulgogi had great flavor, was well-seasoned and tender. The noodles complemented the dish nicely, adding an unexpected yet delightful twist to the classic bulgogi experience. The inclusion of lettuce and noodles, a departure from my usual preferences, turned out to be a surprisingly delicious combination.
  
  Accompanying my meal were two squeeze bottles — one with ketchup (a puzzling choice for noodles, salad, or bulgogi) and the other resembling a spicy mayo and gochujang blend, but with a fierier kick and larger pepper pieces. Despite my initial skepticism, the unknown sauce proved to be a game-changer, elevating the overall dish with its heat and harmonizing the diverse flavors and textures of the lettuce, noodles, grilled onion and beef, and rice.
  
  Although my interactions with the staff were minimal, as I was the sole customer at the time, the service was efficient, with only a brief check-in during my meal. I would have liked to known more about the restaurant and items on the menu, but I'll be returning, as I pass by here frequently.
  
  Initially wary of portion sizes, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the meal was more than satisfying, even prompting me to take leftovers home. Priced at around $20, including a refreshing bottle of Calpico, the overall value was fair when considering the cost of bulgogi at other Korean restaurants in San Antonio has increased significantly in the last couple years.
  
  Wow Chicken & Cupbop stands out as an affordable and satisfying option in San Antonio's Korean dining scene.
