Authentic Pizza, Fresh Flavors, With A Crispy Crust.
We decided to elevate our movie night experience with four colossal 18" pizzas from Adolfo's Italian Market. With a group of 10 hungry individuals, we still found ourselves with a pizza and a half's worth of slices left over, proving that each 18" pie generously caters to approximately three people—assuming of course, everyone agrees on toppings.
Our eclectic pizza lineup included a white pizza, a classic pepperoni, a customized pizza featuring onion, ham, pepperoni, olives, and mushrooms, and a delectable onion and mushroom combination.
To our surprise, the custom pizza laden with the most toppings vanished first., and while Adolfo's lacks a traditional supreme option on the menu, the abundance of toppings available allows you to create your own.
The pizza crust was cooked to near perfection—with a delightful crisp crunch along the edges, yet avoiding the charred mishaps on the bottom you commonly see. The white pizza, served with two containers of marinara sauce, showcased the commitment to freshness, as the website proudly boasts about their homemade pizza sauce.
The melted cheese and the toppings on all the pizzas were artfully distributed, and didnt appear haphazardly thrown on, all resting on a thin crust that happens to be a personal favorite.
In the grand scheme of pizza, Adolfo's is up there. My only lament is the absence of a true supreme pizza on the menu as adding a lot of toppings can be costly. I did not ask if they had one, so this may be worth looking to if I return.
We had a semi large order, and at our time of arrival the water to the entire complex had unexpectedly gone out. Luckily our pizzas were ready and waiting. The staff was kind, and attentive despite the fact they had just been forced to close prior to our arrival. Service was great, and the order was accurate, we had even made a last minute change from a bad cell connection that was dropped. Yet everything about the experience was positive.
Did Adolfo's earn the coveted title of the best food I've ever had? While it easily secured a spot in my top 5, my reigning champion in the pizza realm still holds its ground. But if your craving authentic Italian pizza crafted from fresh ingredients, featuring slices so substantial that three make a meal that leaves no room, Adolfo's is your go-to spot.
While I can't compare it to the renowned pizza of the Northeast (NY, NJ), I can attest that among the numerous pizzerias I've sampled, Adolfo's ranks somewhere in the top positions.— Paul
