  First Time Having Cevapi & It Was Amazing!

  During my stay in the Lakewood Ranch area, I was told about Ranch Night—an evening where a vibrant array of food trucks congregates in a shopping center, offering a diverse selection of culinary delights. Spoiled for choice, I found myself drawn to a small booth, devoid of the typical truck, serving up a Serbian delicacy known as Cevap.
  
  Curios, I inquired about this dish, unknown to me until this moment. Cevap, as I learned from the cook, is a Serbian kabob-style link of meat crafted from a blend of ground pork, beef, and lamb—I immediately thought of the Indian dishes that are similar and how much I like them, so this absolutely appealed to my adventurous taste buds.
  
  I watched as the vendor grilled five links of meat on his flat iron grill, warming a piece of pita bread, and generously spreading one half of it with feta cheese, the other with a vibrant red vegetable spread. Followed by a topping of crisp red onion slices and fresh spinach leaves, the wrap started to build, finally being topped by the 5 savory links of cevap.
  
  Eager to try this new item, I took my order back to where I was staying. The first bite was amazing. The blend of flavors and textures was perfectly balanced. The pita bread had a nice soft warm texture, the creaminess of the feta, the crunch of the red onion, and the burst of flavor from the red vegetable spread, all together made for what proved to be one of the best pita sandwiches I've ever had.
  
  Now back in Texas, I find myself wondering where I can find a similar item locally.

  The small point deduction in my rating was mostly due to cost and the fact it was not quite enough food to make a meal, but as far as flavor goes, this was truely a great experience.
