  Decent Mexican Tacos at The San Antonio Airport

  Embarking on an early morning flight from San Antonio, I found myself with some spare time and the curiosity of what was being served as "Tex-Mex Food" at the international airport. This led me to visit Super Bien Tex Mex Cocina.
  
  I opted for a combo deal that included 2 tacos and a soda, for $10 which is pretty reasonable as far as airport food goes. Tacos by themselves were about $4.50 each, and sodas were about $3. The restaurant offered a decent selection of tacos, but I decided to try the Carne Guisada.
  
  To my surprise, I received two generously filled tacos, brimming with colossal chunks of meat. The meat however was more like pot roast, was a little stringy and due to the thickness of the meat, the flavor of the gravy didnt really permeate the meat well. The gravy, to its credit, boasted a decent flavor, and the tortillas were, in all fairness, quite commendable for a food court restaurant. So while not horrible, but not fantastic, I was pleasantly surprised that what visitors first try isnt a total abomination to our local cuisine. I would actually consider eating here again when flying.
