Taco Tuesday - 99 Cent Tacos
It always surprises me when people tell me they didnt know Dairy Queen has 99 cent tacos on Tuesday in Texas.
Theres no limit on them, they are available open to closing all day on Tuesdays, and at most Texas locations. I can usually eat about 4 or 5.
Are they any good? They are basic crispy tacos. They taste as good or better than crispy tacos at many Mexican restaurants I've been to, and Id pick them over Taco Bell. They are never soggy, my shells have been crisp and fresh every time, and other than inconsistent amounts of filling, they have been pretty consistent.
The tacos have seasoned ground beef, usually not too greasy, topped with shredded lettuce, chopped tomato, shredded cheese, and packets of vinegar based taco sauce.
Since theres not a lot to say about this, I'll add that the photo of the small blizzard attached is a free item when you sign up using the Dairy Queen mobile app. Not sure if they are still offering that promotion.
If your looking for a cheap lunch, or snack on a Tuesday, you should give these a try.
