Great Lunch Specials, Pad Thai Is A Favorite
This restaurant has been a long time favorite of mine. The food here as been consistently good over the years, other than a short period after Covid shutdowns. The Pad Thai and Pad See Ewe have both been favorites of mine for over a decade now.
Lunch specials come with a bowl of soup and a spring roll. The soup here never disappoints. My most recent visit it was vegetable, cabbage and carrots, but packed with flavor. The spring rolls are amazing as well, and you will want more than the 1 that comes with your plate. They are crispy and with the sweet sauce thats on the table they have great flavor. Probably some of the best spring rolls I've had.
The Pad Thai always comes out great, with bean sprouts and peanuts set off to the side. I usually add some of the sweet sauce over my Pad Thai as well. Service here has been great on nearly every visit, and prices are pretty fair for the portion size. Its common to see many people from Medical Center dining here during lunch hours.
The Pad See Ewe here is as equally amazing, with great flavor, a nice mix of egg and broccoli, and the noodles soaking up a flavor from the wok that gives them a little bit of smoky flavor and a sweet coating.
I was lucky enough to find this place when I was first introduced to Thai food. The flavors here are not overly sweet, or bland, not overly spicy or mild. I ordered a 7 today on my spice level and while the noodles appeared a little plain, the heat was there. The spice levels here are generally on the mark. With a 10 not being inedible, but packing a decent amount of heat.
At the time of this review, I have them ranked #4 out of 30 Thai restaurants I have tried. If you like Thai food, this is definitely a place you want to try.
