    **Round Table Pizza ( 7.2 ) ⭐⭐⭐
    King Arthur Supreme
    842 Northwest Loop 410 #110, San Antonio, TX 78216
**This was my first visit to Round Table Pizza. I'd heard mixed reviews, ranging from "fantastic", to "Little Caesars is better". I visited the location with 2 friends and the comments were, "at least Little Caesars charges what the pizza is worth", and "forgot to scan our points into the app, doesnt matter I'm not going back".

I visited hoping to find a place with some amazing supreme pizza, but was disappointed. We arrived to the location, which I believe used to be a Smashburger. The menu was somewhat confusing, the promotions were confusing, and the prices were on the high side. We ordered the XL supreme, because there was 3 of us, and the smaller pizzas cost nearly as much, the price jumps in small increments, but the medium size was $18, the XL was $28.

Then we had a coupon for a medium 1 topping for $5 with the purchase of the L or XL. So we did that as well, because we were trying to maximize what we got for our money. We tried to order stuffed crust, but it was only available on the L, not the medium or the XL we ordered.

Then there was a promo, sign up on the app and get free breadsticks.. OK, but it cant be used, since we used the nationwide promo for the $5 medium. Also the promo code wasnt appearing in our apps.

So beyond all that, the pizza arrives at the table after maybe 15 minutes. The pizza looks good, but the XL has large slices, skinny slices, medium slices. One of my friends said "looks like they struggled to get the 16 slices they advertised". Honestly the pizza should have been 12 slices.

Onto the flavor. The supreme was just OK. The dough in the center was mushy, I assume from the toppings, but Ive had pizza with 20 toppings, Its all about how its cooked. This had 8 toppings, which is the standard at most places. I asked when we ordered if we could do more than 8 toppings, the answer was no. The supreme came with linquica, a Portuguese sausage that was on my favorite pizza of all time. The sausage here was good, almost a chorizo like flavor, but wasnt enough to make me a fan of this place. One of my friends commented that the bell pepper tasted raw.

The medium, again was just OK. The crust was crispier, but it just wasn't impressive at all. The pizza was just disappointing across the board. The amount of white cheese (assuming mozzarella) on the pizza was the majority of the flavor.

Service was great, staff was friendly, questions were answered, staff was patient with all the questions, and dealing with coupons and promos. They ended up bringing us the breadsticks later for free, and just used a promo code as a separate transaction.

But for 3 sodas, 1 XL Supreme and 1 M ham, our total was about $46 after coupons. I don't think any of us will be returning. The Pizza was just OK, pricing and specials made ordering confusing. Pizza was partially undercooked.
