  Great Lunch Specials - Good Fried Fish & Shrimp

  I've been eating at this location for a while now, and the lunch here is hard to beat.
  
  The 2 catfish, 2 shrimp, and fries is $10. The menu says 2 pieces of fish, but everytime I've ordered, I get 3 on my plate. It seems you always get a bit overserved here, but Im not complaining.
  
  Service has been excellent on every visit, drinks are always refilled, I get in and out on a lunch break without almost any wait, and the waiter/cashier here is always in a good mood, friendly and constantly checking on customers.
  
  The fish and shrimp here has a thin batter, great flavor and is tender & moist. I think this is a cornmeal batter, but it has a very fine texture and isn't gritty at all.
  
  While the fries arent anything special, your standard straight cut french fries, they are served as a decent sized pile under your fish and shrimp.
  
  The biggest thing is, everything is fried fresh, the fish, shrimp and fries all come out piping hot, every time. I love the fact my food is coming nearly straight from the fryer.
  
  Now, I love my tartar sauce on fried fish, its a must for me, and the tartar sauce here is good, plus they give you a squeeze bottle of ketchup, tartar and cocktail sauce. So if your like me, your not having to go ask for more, you can dip your fries if you want.
  
  As far as fried seafood goes, I'd say this is one of my favorites in San Antonio, maybe in my top 10 anywhere. It's hard to find a place with better prices and portions for sure, but the food here is pretty great. I havent really explored much of the menu, but its pretty simplistic. This is your basic homestyle southern fried fish.
  
  Bay Seas has multiple locations around San Antonio, I've eaten at 3, but this one is my favorite.
